Plant designs built for performance, reliability, and real-world conditions
Landfill gas projects live in the real world, changing gas quality, site constraints, weather, and operator realities. JADE designs landfill gas processing plants that are engineered for uptime, built for maintainability, and aligned with the economic goals landfill owners care about.
Whether you’re developing a new renewable natural gas (RNG) facility, upgrading an existing plant, or improving integration with your gas collection system, our team brings practical engineering that supports long-term success.
What we design
We help landfill owners connect all parts of the system into a single, coordinated facility. Depending on your end use and requirements, that may include pretreatment and conditioning, compression and flow management, filtration and contaminant management, dehydration and product conditioning, utilities integration (electrical, instrumentation, and controls), safety and protective logic, and tie-ins to the GCCS and flare system.
Final configuration depends on your gas quality, end use, and commercial requirements, and we design to the realities of your site, not generic assumptions.
Outcomes Landfill Owners Benefit From
- Higher confidence in reliability
We prioritize operating stability and clear control logic so your team can run the plant consistently and respond confidently when conditions shift. - Better maintainability
Equipment layout and access matter. We design for serviceability so routine maintenance is straightforward and downtime is minimized. - Fewer surprises in construction
We design with constructability in mind, so drawings translate into field execution, coordination is smoother, and rework is reduced.
Our approach to plant design
Site-driven engineering
We begin with the landfill: expected flow, gas composition, existing infrastructure, site constraints, and the realities of how the facility will be operated day-to-day.
Technology-neutral evaluation
We help you evaluate the right approach for your goals, considering performance requirements, operations complexity, vendor interfaces, and lifecycle cost. If there are multiple paths to success, we’ll help you choose the one that fits your priorities.
Integrated controls from day one
Controls are not an afterthought. We align process design with PLC/SCADA requirements early so the plant runs as a coordinated system and the operator experience is clear.
Depending on project phase, JADE can provide P&IDs, equipment specifications and integration requirements, electrical and instrumentation scope definition, control narratives and alarm philosophy, layout coordination and constructability reviews, and startup/commissioning support. We tailor deliverables to the decisions you need to make and the stage your project is in.
